About This Place

Nestled in the heart of West Sacramento, Tree House Cafe West Sac is a refreshing haven that beautifully blends a vibrant café, laid-back bar, and charming beer garden into one irresistible spot. Whether you’re craving a thoughtfully crafted coffee, a hearty breakfast, or a casual lunch in a relaxed outdoor setting, this local gem serves up an experience that feels both welcoming and genuine.

Tree House Cafe’s menu is a delightful tribute to farm-to-fork eating, showcasing fresh, seasonal ingredients that highlight their commitment to quality and sustainability. Their avocado toast, crowned with creamy avocado mash, crisp radish, fragrant cilantro, and a pop of togarashi, is a perfect harmony of flavors and textures — bright, fresh, and just the right amount of spice. For those wanting a heartier bite, the Breakfast Burrito stuffs apple wood smoked bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs alongside sweet peppers, melty Pepper Jack, and crispy tater tots — a satisfying and comforting start to the day. The Egg Pig’Cante Sammy is another standout: an onion and cheddar omelette layered with bacon and enlivened by a pairing of habanero mint sauce and gochujang aioli, all nestled in a toasted burger bun; it’s a creative, bold flavor combination that surprises and delights.

Coffee lovers will find themselves right at home here. Proudly serving Temple Coffee, their Tree House Drip is a smooth, richly aromatic brew available in sizes to suit every caffeine craving. Espresso aficionados can indulge in everything from a classic Cappuccino to an Americano that elegantly balances strength and flavor. For something a little different, the unique “Ultraviolet Latte,” an iced creation topped with lavender cold foam, offers a floral twist that is both beautiful and delicious.

The café’s atmosphere effortlessly compliments the menu’s quality with its warm, inviting ambiance. Inside, it’s a cozy spot buzzing with folks working remotely—laptops open, coffee cups in hand—while outside, the expansive beer garden surrounded by lush trees creates an oasis of calm and fresh air. Customers love the way the garden’s greenery intertwines with the café’s culinary philosophy; the fact that produce grown on-site helps inspire many menu items enhances the feeling of connection to the food. Despite its intimate space indoors, the ample outdoor seating invites guests to linger over their meals and drinks, soaking in the natural, peaceful surroundings.

Customers consistently praise the friendly, attentive staff who bring genuine warmth to every visit—making each guest feel truly welcome. Mara Ignacio captures this well, describing the owner’s kindness and the laid-back vibe as highlights that make Tree House Cafe feel like a hidden neighborhood treasure. Donovan Carlson appreciates the seasonal variety, farm-fresh produce, and the unique experience of dining surrounded by the very ingredients used in the dishes. Meanwhile, Rosie M’s equally glowing remarks about the tasty hibiscus iced tea and warm chocolate chip cookies perfectly illustrate Tree House’s ability to satisfy all kinds of cravings with thoughtfully prepared treats.

Tree House Cafe West Sac is more than just a place to eat and drink—it’s a community hub where quality, creativity, and comfort come together beautifully. Whether you’re popping in for a revitalizing coffee, enjoying a leisurely brunch, or unwinding in the serene beer garden, this café delivers a genuinely uplifting experience that keeps guests coming back for more.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tree House Café in Sacramento is such a hidden gem! Plenty of parking and it’s super convenient being right near the stadium. The owner (I think his name is “Fuzz”—apologies if I’m spelling that wrong!) is absolutely wonderful and really makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — lots of people were working from home with their laptops plugged in, but it’s also perfect if you just want to sip coffee, people-watch, and relax. The food was delicious, the drinks reasonably priced, and honestly it was the best choice before heading into the game. Stadium food is overpriced and not great, so I’m glad I stopped here first to fill up before the Athletics game. All around, this is easily the best hangout spot before a game. Great vibe, great owner, great food — I’ll definitely be back!

First time finally trying this place out. Excellent food. Farm to fork. Had the Sunday Egg sandwich. Delicious. Coffee was great. Had the ultraviolet latte iced with lavender cold foam. Love the variety and seasonality of the menu. Really cool how the produce they grow is intertwined with the outdoor eating areas. You're surrounded by what you eat. No chickens but there are chicken coops around. Maybe they let them out after closing? Didn't get to meet Smokey today sadly. I think she was gone because of the Independence Day fireworks. We'll definitely be back again!

Was craving a tasty drink & treat, this place satisfied it! I ordered a hibiscus iced tea and a chocolate chip cookie, it came out quickly and was so tasty, also very reasonably priced. The employees were so nice and friendly. We enjoyed our snacks in their spacious yard, with beautiful trees.

Sandwiches were great! There are breakfast and lunch options. They are refreshing and filling. Staff were courteous and helpful. Not much space inside when you’re trying to make an order. I would suggest barcodes to help preview the menu or have menus available to preview. You’re not able to get a good view of the menu board until you’re ordering. A little pit on the heavier price range. Cute theme. Seating is 90% outdoors.

My wife and I were looking to dine al fresco on a cooler day in town. Had not been here since the new owners took over. It was such a pleasant experience. I also enjoyed their lavender apricot drink to go with my refreshing salad. Looking forward to returning soon to try other menu items.

I treated myself to lunch here today and it was so delicious. I got the breakfast quesadilla and although the ingredients are really simple, it was really damn delicious. The cheese was super melty, and I love that it was crispy on the outside and not soggy. I also got a cappuccino and it was good as well. outdoor seating for the most part, I enjoyed it today looking at all the fallen leaves and the fruit trees. The only thing that kind of soured my experience was some guy talking on his phone the entire time I was there. That’s not the restaurant’s fault of course but just know that there are corporate buildings around and sometimes people are working through lunch or whatever.

First time here. The place was very cute! We got an avocado toast and a bacon and egg sandwich. Both tasted fine, the avocado toast was slightly different from what i was used to but over it was tasty. The outdoor seating was spaced out pretty well. The yard was beautiful with lots of mature fruit trees. Got to speak with the owner regarding the history of this property from the 1930's! What an incredible journey for this place. Can't wait to see the upcoming projects.
